Plan your visit

Everything you need to know before your first Sunday at KACC — so nothing about walking through the door feels unfamiliar.

What to expect

No surprises

The honest answers to the questions most people are too polite to ask.

  • Getting here

We are at 771 Elberta Dr, Marietta, GA 30066, just off Elberta Drive. There is parking on site — arrive about ten minutes early on a Main Service Sunday and you will have no trouble finding a space.

  • Walking in

Someone will meet you at the door and help you find a seat. If you would rather slip in quietly and sit at the back, that is completely fine too.

  • What to wear

Whatever you are comfortable in. On any given Sunday you will see suits, kitenge and jeans in the same row.

  • How long it lasts

The Kikuyu and English services run about an hour each. The Main Service runs from 11:00 to around 12:30.

  • Your children

Children's Ministry runs alongside the Main Service from 11:00 to 1:00 in the Kids Sanctuary. Every volunteer has completed an application and a background check.

  • What we will ask of you

Nothing. You do not need to give, sign anything, or stand up and be introduced. Come and see.

Frequently asked questions

What are your gatherings like?

Warm, unhurried and family-centred. We sing together, open the Bible together, and pray for one another. Our Kikuyu service carries the songs and language many of us grew up with; our English and Main services bring the whole church family into one room.

What happens when I visit?

Someone will meet you at the door, help you find a seat, and point you toward coffee and the children’s rooms. There is no expectation that you sign anything, give anything, or say anything. You are welcome to simply sit and take it in.

What should I bring?

Yourself, and nothing else. Bibles are available if you would like one. Come as you are — you will see everything from suits to jeans in the room on a given Sunday.

Can I invite people to come with?

Please do. Bring your family, your neighbours, your colleagues, your friends who are curious and your friends who are unsure. This church was built by people who invited someone.

What if we didn’t answer your question?

Call the church office on 770-427-0555 during office hours, or send us a message and a member of the team will get back to you.
