Like many other churches, KACC has a seasonal, rather than scary, focus to its Oct. 31 event, which it calls Hallow Be Thy Name. The event, scheduled from 6 p.m., so it can be a substitute for trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. This year’s theme is Trunk & Treat where volunteers will decorate their trunks and provide treats.

No scary costumes allowed. Bible characters, Action Figures, Cartoon characters and Creative costumes to be worn.
